This price was achieved in the auction The Dr Anton C.R.Dreesmann Collection Old Master Pictures at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Cornelis Beelt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Departure of King Charles II From Scheveningen On The 24 May 1660 in May 2006 with an auction result of EUR 45,600.00.
