Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A horse fair, said to be Valkenburg, with figures in wagons and on horseback by booths outside the town walls by Cornelis Beelt was sold in the OLD MASTER PICTURES auction at Christies in London in October 2001. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 4,112.50 (€ 6,646.40) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Cornelis Beelt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Departure of King Charles II From Scheveningen On The 24 May 1660 in May 2006 with an auction result of EUR 45,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A horse fair, said to be Valkenburg, with figures in wagons and on horseback by booths outside the town walls von Cornelis Beelt wurde im Oktober 2001 in der Auktion OLD MASTER PICTURES bei Christies in London versteigert.
