Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Kings Destroy My Street - 2009 by Cope 2 was sold in the More auction at Artcurial in Paris in April last year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,968.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Cope 2 have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sans Titre - 2012 in April 2018 with an auction result of EUR 8,320.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Kings Destroy My Street - 2009 von Cope 2 wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion More bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.968,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cope 2 auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sans Titre - 2012 im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.320,00.
