Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2019 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Urban & Pop Contemporary, which included the work Powerfull Impact - 2015 by Cope 2. The price achieved of EUR 2,080.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,800.00 – 2,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cope 2 - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sans Titre - 2012, which sold at auction in April 2018 for EUR 8,320.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2019 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Urban & Pop Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit Powerfull Impact - 2015 von Cope 2 zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.080,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.800,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Cope 2 mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sans Titre - 2012 beobachtet, die im April 2018 für EUR 8.320,00 versteigert wurde.
