Auction result misses estimated price range
In June last year a collector was able to acquire the work Ritratto femminile by Contardo Barbieri for EUR 700.00. This price was achieved in the auction Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 800.00 – 1,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Contardo Barbieri - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Colline lombarde (Paesaggio), which sold at auction in May 2019 for EUR 2,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Ritratto femminile von Contardo Barbieri für EUR 700,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo bei Il Ponte erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Contardo Barbieri mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Colline lombarde (Paesaggio) beobachtet, die im Mai 2019 für EUR 2.800,00 versteigert wurde.
