The work Il gioco del pallone by Contardo Barbieri was sold in the 19th and 20th century Paintings and Sculptures auction at Il Ponte in June 2021. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 800.00 33% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Contardo Barbieri - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Colline lombarde (Paesaggio), which sold at auction in May 2019 for EUR 2,800.00.

Die Arbeit Il gioco del pallone von Contardo Barbieri wurde im Juni 2021 in der Auktion 19th and 20th century Paintings and Sculptures bei Il Ponte versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 800,00 und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Contardo Barbieri mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Colline lombarde (Paesaggio) beobachtet, die im Mai 2019 für EUR 2.800,00 versteigert wurde.
