Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Circulation N°127 - 1985 by Constantin Xenakis was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in March 2018. It changed hands for a price of EUR 2,470.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 2,000.00 – 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Constantin Xenakis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Telecommunication HHF / Commandements HHG in November last year with an auction result of EUR 10,837.50.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Circulation N°127 - 1985 von Constantin Xenakis kam im März 2018 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 2.470,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 2.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Constantin Xenakis auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Telecommunication HHF / Commandements HHG im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.837,50.
