Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2014 Artcurial held the auction Post War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Circuits - 1982 by Constantin Xenakis. The price achieved of EUR 1,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Constantin Xenakis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Telecommunication HHF / Commandements HHG in November last year with an auction result of EUR 10,837.50.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2014 führte Artcurial die Auktion Post War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Circuits - 1982 von Constantin Xenakis zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Constantin Xenakis auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Telecommunication HHF / Commandements HHG im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.837,50.
