Auction result misses estimated price range

In the Old Master & British Drawings Including Works from the Collection of Jean Bonna auction, the work The angel warning Joseph to flee to Egypt changed hands for USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,395.20) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Constantijn van Renesse - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lot and his Daughters (Genesis 19:33), which sold at auction in January 2008 for USD 51,400.00 (€ 34,633.78).
