The work Le Village by Constant Permeke was sold in the From Magritte to Zao Wou-Ki auction at Sothebys in Paris in October 2018. The result of EUR 15,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Constant Permeke achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Torse in October 2018 with an auction result of EUR 393,000.00.

Die Arbeit Le Village von Constant Permeke wurde im Oktober 2018 in der Auktion From Magritte to Zao Wou-Ki bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 15.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Constant Permeke erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Torse im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 393.000,00.
