Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2008 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Learning To Swim by Constant Artz. The price achieved of GBP 562.50 (€ 717.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Constant Artz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ducks and ducklings along the waterside in January 2002 with an auction result of EUR 11,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Learning To Swim von Constant Artz zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 562,50 (€ 717,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Constant Artz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ducks and ducklings along the waterside im Januar 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 11.750,00.
