Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2009 a collector was able to acquire the work The first swim by Constant Artz for EUR 2,500.00. This price was achieved in the auction Nineteen to Now, art from the 19th, 20th & 21st centuries, including Topographical Observations, African and Indonesian Pictures at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Constant Artz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ducks and ducklings along the waterside in January 2002 with an auction result of EUR 11,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2009 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The first swim von Constant Artz für EUR 2.500,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Nineteen to Now, art from the 19th, 20th & 21st centuries, including Topographical Observations, African and Indonesian Pictures bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Constant Artz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ducks and ducklings along the waterside im Januar 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 11.750,00.
