Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mother duck and her ducklings by Constant Artz was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in February 2008. It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,250.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Constant Artz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ducks and ducklings along the waterside, which sold at auction in January 2002 for EUR 11,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mother duck and her ducklings von Constant Artz kam im Februar 2008 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 3.250,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Constant Artz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ducks and ducklings along the waterside beobachtet, die im Januar 2002 für EUR 11.750,00 versteigert wurde.
