Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ducks and ducklings on a sunny day by Constant Artz was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in February 2008. The price achieved of EUR 4,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Constant Artz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ducks and ducklings along the waterside, which sold at auction in January 2002 for EUR 11,750.00.

Die Arbeit Ducks and ducklings on a sunny day von Constant Artz kam im Februar 2008 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Constant Artz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ducks and ducklings along the waterside beobachtet, die im Januar 2002 für EUR 11.750,00 versteigert wurde.
