Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Witching Hour by Conroy Maddox was sold in the The Mind's Eye / Surrealist Sale auction at Bonhams in London in March last year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,040.00 (€ 2,418.65). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Conroy Maddox achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poltergeist in June 2018 with an auction result of EUR 56,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Witching Hour von Conroy Maddox wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion The Mind's Eye / Surrealist Sale bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.040,00 (€ 2.418,65) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Conroy Maddox erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Poltergeist im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 56.250,00.
