Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work The Voyeur by Conroy Maddox was worth GBP 3,825.00 (€ 4,534.97) to a buyer in March last year. This price was achieved in the auction The Mind's Eye / Surrealist Sale at Bonhams in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Conroy Maddox achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poltergeist in June 2018 with an auction result of EUR 56,250.00.

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion The Mind's Eye / Surrealist Sale bei Bonhams in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Conroy Maddox erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Poltergeist im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 56.250,00.
