Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Conroy Maddox achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in April last year. In the Modern British and Irish Art auction, the work Case History (unframed) sold for GBP 2,805.00 (€ 3,344.86) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Conroy Maddox achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poltergeist in June 2018 with an auction result of EUR 56,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Conroy Maddox erzielte im April letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art wurde die Arbeit Case History (unframed) für GBP 2.805,00 (€ 3.344,86) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Conroy Maddox erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Poltergeist im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 56.250,00.
