Sold at the estimate price
In June 2018 Ketterer in Munich held the auction Kunst nach 1945 II, which included the work Ohne Titel by Conrad Westpfahl. The auction ended at the price of EUR 1,500.00, which exactly corresponded to the pre-set estimate of EUR 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Conrad Westpfahl have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Villa Massimo, Rom in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 8,492.69).
Zuschlag beim Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2018 führte Ketterer in München die Auktion Kunst nach 1945 II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ohne Titel von Conrad Westpfahl zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 1.500,00 entsprach exakt dem Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Conrad Westpfahl auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Villa Massimo, Rom im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 8.492,69).
