Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans Titre - 1960 by Conrad Westpfahl was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in March last year. The price achieved of EUR 918.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Conrad Westpfahl have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Villa Massimo, Rom in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 8,492.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1960 von Conrad Westpfahl wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 918,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Conrad Westpfahl auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Villa Massimo, Rom im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 8.492,69).
