Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The north gate of the Royal Pavillion, Brighton, 1836 by Conrad Leigh was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2005. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 420.00 (€ 619.37) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Conrad Leigh have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in February 2007 the work Procession of the Royal Horse Guards was auctioned for GBP 780.00 (€ 1,156.32).

Die Arbeit The north gate of the Royal Pavillion, Brighton, 1836 von Conrad Leigh kam im Oktober 2005 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 420,00 (€ 619,37) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Conrad Leigh konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Februar 2007 die Arbeit Procession of the Royal Horse Guards für GBP 780,00 (€ 1.156,32) versteigert.
