Auction result misses estimated price range

In the California Art auction, the work Palm trees and shadows changed hands for USD 4,845.00 (€ 4,292.55) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Conrad Buff - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Canyon Walls, Zion National Park, Utah, which sold at auction in April last year for USD 16,575.00 (€ 15,730.28).
