Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Desert Cliffs by Conrad Buff was auctioned at Bonhams in London in September 2021. The price achieved of GBP 3,187.50 (€ 3,708.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by Conrad Buff have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Canyon Walls, Zion National Park, Utah in April last year with an auction result of USD 16,575.00 (€ 15,730.28).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.187,50 (€ 3.708,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Conrad Buff auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Canyon Walls, Zion National Park, Utah im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 16.575,00 (€ 15.730,28).
