Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Helmet, Kindling and Deer Feed (Winter), Durlangen by Collier Schorr for USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,197.03). This price was achieved in the auction Handle With Care at Phillips in an online auction and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Collier Schorr - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work In The Collage (Marie), which sold at auction in February 2016 for USD 8,750.00 (€ 8,051.16).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Helmet, Kindling and Deer Feed (Winter), Durlangen von Collier Schorr für USD 2.500,00 (€ 2.197,03) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Handle With Care bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Collier Schorr mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit In The Collage (Marie) beobachtet, die im Februar 2016 für USD 8.750,00 (€ 8.051,16) versteigert wurde.
