Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Parrot tulips, carnations, Turk-cap lilies and other flowers with a snail, a frog and insects by a fountain with a sculpted dolphin by Coenraet Roepel was sold in the Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale auction at Christies in London in July 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 43,750.00 (€ 55,182.51) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Coenraet Roepel have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2012 the work Violets, pink and white roses, carnations, tulips, blue morning glory, a peony, a hyacinth and various other flowers in a vase, on a stone ledge with a pupa and a snail was auctioned for EUR 61,000.00.

Die Arbeit Parrot tulips, carnations, Turk-cap lilies and other flowers with a snail, a frog and insects by a fountain with a sculpted dolphin von Coenraet Roepel wurde im Juli 2014 in der Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 43.750,00 (€ 55.182,51) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
