Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Magritte's New Shoes 27cm (10 5/8in) long by Clive Barker was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November this year. The price achieved of GBP 1,792.00 (€ 2,076.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Clive Barker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Coke with Two Straws in November 2018 with an auction result of GBP 43,750.00 (€ 49,348.67).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.792,00 (€ 2.076,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden.
