Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bouquet imaginaire by Claude Venard was auctioned at Artcurial in December this year. The price achieved of EUR 10,496.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Claude Venard have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La partie de cartes in June 2014 with an auction result of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 46,854.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bouquet imaginaire von Claude Venard kam im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 10.496,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Claude Venard auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La partie de cartes im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 46.854,46).
