This price was achieved in the auction Collection André Mourgues, Alexandre Iolas et ses artistes at Sothebys in Paris and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 15,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Claude Lalanne achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Banc Crocodiles in November 2021 with an auction result of EUR 2,432,500.00.

Die Arbeit Pomme bouche von Claude Lalanne war einem Käufer im März letzten Jahres EUR 88.200,00 wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Collection André Mourgues, Alexandre Iolas et ses artistes bei Sothebys in Paris erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 15.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Claude Lalanne erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Banc Crocodiles im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.432.500,00.
