Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Panneau De Signalisation Bleu - 2006 by Claude Gilli was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in June 2021, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 2,600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Claude Gilli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ex Voto (Johny Hallyday) - 1961 in November 2016 with an auction result of EUR 74,100.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Panneau De Signalisation Bleu - 2006 von Claude Gilli im Juni 2021 bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 2.600,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Claude Gilli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ex Voto (Johny Hallyday) - 1961 im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 74.100,00.
