Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Paris Omnibus (Coppel CF10) by Claude Flight was auctioned at Christies in London in February 2008. The price achieved of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 6,212.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Claude Flight achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Swimming: The Start of the Race in January 2020 with an auction result of GBP 131,250.00 (€ 156,120.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Paris Omnibus (Coppel CF10) von Claude Flight kam im Februar 2008 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 6.212,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Claude Flight erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Swimming: The Start of the Race im Januar 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 131.250,00 (€ 156.120,41).
