This artwork by Clara Klinghoffer achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in June 2002. In the British Art on Paper including Original Book Illustrations auction, the work Study of a Young Girl sold for GBP 998.75 (€ 1,544.84) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Clara Klinghoffer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Girl With Plaits, which sold at auction in May 2020 for GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,440.44).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Clara Klinghoffer erzielte im Juni 2002 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion British Art on Paper including Original Book Illustrations wurde die Arbeit Study of a Young Girl für GBP 998,75 (€ 1.544,84) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Clara Klinghoffer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Girl With Plaits beobachtet, die im Mai 2020 für GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.440,44) versteigert wurde.
