Auction result fails to reach estimate
In September this year a collector was able to acquire the work An elderly couple sitting in the livingroom by Cilius Andersen for DKK 3,000.00 (€ 402.21). This price was achieved in the auction {} at Bruun Rasmussen in Paintings, furniture and varia and was even lower than the DKK 4,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cilius Andersen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Morning toilette in December this year with an auction result of DKK 100,000.00 (€ 13,415.30).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im September diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit An elderly couple sitting in the livingroom von Cilius Andersen für DKK 3.000,00 (€ 402,21) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion {} bei Bruun Rasmussen in Paintings, furniture and varia erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cilius Andersen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Morning toilette im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 100.000,00 (€ 13.415,30).
