Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Irish Art, which included the work Ai13 Yrb (Noreen R) by Ciaran Lennon. The price achieved of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 16,610.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Ciaran Lennon have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2007 the work Colour Collection was auctioned for GBP 22,100.00 (€ 31,737.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ai13 Yrb (Noreen R) von Ciaran Lennon zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 16.610,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Ciaran Lennon konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2007 die Arbeit Colour Collection für GBP 22.100,00 (€ 31.737,05) versteigert.
