Auction result well in line with expectations
In October last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 20th/21st Century Art Online, which included the work Ascend Step by Step by Chuang Che. The price achieved of HKD 126,000.00 (€ 16,146.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Chuang Che have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled in April 2019 with an auction result of HKD 1,375,000.00 (€ 156,515.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th/21st Century Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ascend Step by Step von Chuang Che zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 126.000,00 (€ 16.146,37) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chuang Che auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.375.000,00 (€ 156.515,04).
