Auction result well in line with expectations
In December last year Bonhams in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Abstract (Diptych) by Chuang Che. The price achieved of HKD 191,250.00 (€ 22,918.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Admittedly, works by Chuang Che have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled in April 2019 with an auction result of HKD 1,375,000.00 (€ 156,515.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Abstract (Diptych) von Chuang Che zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 191.250,00 (€ 22.918,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chuang Che auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.375.000,00 (€ 156.515,04).
