In May 2010 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Feeding the chickens by Christopher William Strange. The auction ended at the price of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,757.46), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Other works by Christopher William Strange have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2007 the work Pheasant shooting; and Duck shooting was auctioned for GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,800.52).
