Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2002 a collector was able to acquire the work The remains of a bicycle by Christopher Sanders for GBP 82.25 (€ 135.14). This price was achieved in the auction BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 150.00 – 250.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christopher Sanders achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tulips and Bluebells in the Artist's Garden in December 2006 with an auction result of GBP 1,920.00 (€ 2,849.52).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2002 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The remains of a bicycle von Christopher Sanders für GBP 82,25 (€ 135,14) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 150,00 – 250,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christopher Sanders erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tulips and Bluebells in the Artist's Garden im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.920,00 (€ 2.849,52).
