Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Christopher Sanders could be acquired at Christies in London in January 2004 for an unexpectedly low price. In the At Home - British & Continental Pictures and Works on Paper auction, the work The White Crocus changed hands for GBP 94.00 (€ 137.50) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 200.00 – 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christopher Sanders achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tulips and Bluebells in the Artist's Garden in December 2006 with an auction result of GBP 1,920.00 (€ 2,849.52).
