Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Christophe Huet achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in October last year. In the Collections auction, the work Animaux Exotiques sold for EUR 10,710.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Christophe Huet - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of Mimi, Madame De Pompadour'S King Charles Spaniel, In A Landscape, which sold at auction in February 2013 for USD 46,875.00 (€ 35,839.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Christophe Huet erzielte im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Collections wurde die Arbeit Animaux Exotiques für EUR 10.710,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Christophe Huet mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait Of Mimi, Madame De Pompadour'S King Charles Spaniel, In A Landscape beobachtet, die im Februar 2013 für USD 46.875,00 (€ 35.839,90) versteigert wurde.
