The result of EUR 1,200.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,600.00. Admittedly, works by Christoffel Bisschop have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dutch Rembrandt On His Way To The Anatomical Lesson Of Dr. Tulp in October 2008 with an auction result of EUR 8,125.00.

Die Arbeit Reading von Christoffel Bisschop kam im Januar 2005 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion.
