Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2015 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters & 19th century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism), which included the work Before the mirror by Christoffel Bisschop. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 5,625.00. Other works by Christoffel Bisschop have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 8,125.00 in October 2008 for the work Dutch Rembrandt On His Way To The Anatomical Lesson Of Dr. Tulp.

Im Juni 2015 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters & 19th century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Before the mirror von Christoffel Bisschop zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 5.625,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Christoffel Bisschop haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.125,00 im Oktober 2008 für die Arbeit Dutch Rembrandt On His Way To The Anatomical Lesson Of Dr. Tulp beobachtet.
