Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2007 Christies in London held the auction Important Portrait Miniatures and Gold Boxes, which included the work A fine still-life of flowers on a stone ledge including roses, a parrot tulip, convolvulus, a poppy, wild strawberry flowers and fritilla and bluebell in a vase beside a nest with two pale grey eggs and a feather by Christiaen van Pol. The price achieved of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 6,651.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christiaen van Pol achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nature Morte Au Vase De Fleurs, Bocal De Poissons Et Nid D'Oiseau Sur Un Entablement in June 2010 with an auction result of EUR 126,750.00.

Im November 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion Important Portrait Miniatures and Gold Boxes durch, in der auch die Arbeit A fine still-life of flowers on a stone ledge including roses, a parrot tulip, convolvulus, a poppy, wild strawberry flowers and fritilla and bluebell in a vase beside a nest with two pale grey eggs and a feather von Christiaen van Pol zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 6.651,23) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christiaen van Pol erzielen.
