Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Onkel Joachim (Uncle Joachim) by Christian Krohg was sold in the British & Continental Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in October 2007. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 7,180.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christian Krohg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Norwegian leif Eriksson Oppdager Amerika (Leif Eriksson Discovers America) in June 2010 with an auction result of GBP 205,250.00 (€ 249,603.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Onkel Joachim (Uncle Joachim) von Christian Krohg wurde im Oktober 2007 in der Auktion British & Continental Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 7.180,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christian Krohg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Norwegian leif Eriksson Oppdager Amerika (Leif Eriksson Discovers America) im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 205.250,00 (€ 249.603,10).
