Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Christian Krohg could be acquired at Sothebys in London in November 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the European Paintings auction, the work Norwegian girl In White changed hands for GBP 17,500.00 (€ 20,429.46) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christian Krohg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Norwegian leif Eriksson Oppdager Amerika (Leif Eriksson Discovers America) in June 2010 with an auction result of GBP 205,250.00 (€ 249,603.10).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Christian Krohg konnte im November 2011 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion European Paintings wechselte die Arbeit Norwegian girl In White für GBP 17.500,00 (€ 20.429,46) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christian Krohg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Norwegian leif Eriksson Oppdager Amerika (Leif Eriksson Discovers America) im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 205.250,00 (€ 249.603,10).
