Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Relief I, 1990 by Christian Jaccard for EUR 2,478.00. This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art 2 at Artcurial in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Christian Jaccard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Empreinte - 1972, which sold at auction in March last year for EUR 9,709.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Relief I, 1990 von Christian Jaccard für EUR 2.478,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art 2 bei Artcurial in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Christian Jaccard mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Empreinte - 1972 beobachtet, die im März letzten Jahres für EUR 9.709,00 versteigert wurde.
