Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Babel I - 1979 by Christian Bonnefoi was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art Online auction at Artcurial in October last year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,674.00. Admittedly, works by Christian Bonnefoi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Babel 2 Sentence Iv in December 2019 with an auction result of EUR 25,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Babel I - 1979 von Christian Bonnefoi wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online bei Artcurial versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 3.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.674,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Christian Bonnefoi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Babel 2 Sentence Iv im Dezember 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 25.000,00.
