Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 35,850.00 (€ 28,790.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Christian Berentz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Peaches and plums in a wicker basket, peaches on a silver dish and narcissi on stone plinths in May 2000 with an auction result of USD 182,000.00 (€ 195,111.49).
