The work Marina Grande, Capri, with a fishing Boat in the Foreground by Christen Købke was sold in the Important Winter Sale auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in December 2019. The price achieved of SEK 860,000.00 (€ 81,963.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as SEK 800,000.00 – 1,000,000.00. Other works by Christen Købke have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2008 the work Luftstudie. Rødlig aftenhimmel med tunge sortgra skyer (Air study. Reddish evening sky with heavy Black-Grey Clouds) was auctioned for GBP 70,100.00 (€ 89,170.26).
