Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Online | London, which included the work I. Untitled (Dont Everything Work It Out...) Ii. Untitled (Is That Abstract?) Iii. Untitled (Yellow Man And Two Arrows) by Chris Johanson. The price achieved of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,109.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Chris Johanson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May 2010 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 32,338.91).

Im November 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Online | London durch, in der auch die Arbeit I. Untitled (Dont Everything Work It Out...) Ii. Untitled (Is That Abstract?) Iii. Untitled (Yellow Man And Two Arrows) von Chris Johanson zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.109,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chris Johanson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 32.338,91).
