This artwork by Choi Yeong-Geol achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2012. In the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction, the work The Four Seasons sold for HKD 325,000.00 (€ 32,225.21) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 180,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Choi Yeong-Geol; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Finding Spring sold at auction in November 2015 with the realized price of HKD 437,500.00 (€ 53,434.48).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Choi Yeong-Geol erzielte im November 2012 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) wurde die Arbeit The Four Seasons für HKD 325.000,00 (€ 32.225,21) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 180.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Choi Yeong-Geol; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Finding Spring im November 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 437.500,00 (€ 53.434,48).
