Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Pasta Shapes by Chloe Cheese. The price achieved of GBP 456.00 (€ 677.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Chloe Cheese - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Neal Street Restaurant, which sold at auction in July 2007 for GBP 1,140.00 (€ 1,693.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pasta Shapes von Chloe Cheese zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 456,00 (€ 677,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Chloe Cheese mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Neal Street Restaurant beobachtet, die im Juli 2007 für GBP 1.140,00 (€ 1.693,16) versteigert wurde.
